About the Role
LinkX is hiring on behalf of a Dubai school for people of determination. The school uses AI and assistive technology to help students learn, communicate and build skills for independent living.

As Senior AI Specialist, you will plan and deliver AI training for students in class, group and one-to-one sessions. You will also train staff, support parents, and mentor the AI team.

What You Will Do

• Teach AI and digital skills to students of determination through group and individual sessions.
• Select and use AI tools, apps, smart technology and accessibility features to meet each student’s needs.
• Build AI goals into each student’s Individual Education Plan (IEP).
• Adapt lessons and use assistive technology to improve access to learning.
• Teach digital literacy and online safety.
• Prepare students to use technology in education, work and daily life.
• Work with classroom staff to bring AI into all routines and settings.
• Keep student records, attendance and session schedules up to date. Prepare annual reports.
• Communicate with parents through reports, meetings and the online diary. Help them use AI at home.
• Mentor junior AI specialists and assistant special educators.
• Lead AI department projects and help upskill school staff in AI.
• Manage AI department equipment and inventory.
• Ensure student safety at all times and keep student information confidential.
• Stay current with AI trends and promote responsible, inclusive AI.
• Take part in school activities and events, including fundraising when needed.

Education and Experience (one of the following)

Option 1

• Bachelor’s degree in AI
• Plus a Bachelor’s in Assistive Technology, Rehab Sciences or Special Education
• 5+ years in special or inclusive education, disability rehab, or an education-focused company

Option 2

• BSc or BTech in Computer Science or IT with an AI major
• Plus a Bachelor’s in Assistive Technology, Rehab Sciences or Special Education
• 5+ years in special or inclusive education, disability rehab, or an education-focused company

Preferred

• Master’s degree in AI, Computer Science or IT with an AI specialisation
• Plus a Bachelor’s in Assistive Technology, Rehab Sciences or Special Education
• 3+ years in special or inclusive education, disability rehab, or an education-focused company

Certifications (highly desirable)
One or more in: AI, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Assistive Technology, Special Education, STEM education, or Apple, Microsoft or Google certifications.
