About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Program Manager for a leading technology infrastructure business, to lead the governance, execution, and delivery of large scale data centre, enterprise infrastructure, cloud, and AI infrastructure programs.
The role involves establishing enterprise wide governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with organisational and industry standards, overseeing multi million dollar infrastructure programs, and driving operational excellence across cross functional delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
Program Governance and PMO
- Establish and continuously enhance enterprise project governance frameworks
- Define governance models, delivery methodologies, project standards, and operating procedures
- Conduct governance reviews, project health assessments, and executive steering committee meetings
- Develop executive dashboards, KPIs, governance reports, and portfolio performance metrics
Program and Project Delivery
- Lead end to end delivery of multiple enterprise infrastructure and professional services programs
- Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and execution strategies
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and within contractual scope
- Manage dependencies, risks, milestones, deliverables, change requests, and escalations
- Drive execution from solution handover through customer acceptance and closure
Compliance, Quality and Risk
- Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, delivery processes, and quality standards
- Drive adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ITIL, and customer governance requirements
- Maintain SOPs, governance templates, compliance records, and audit documentation
- Identify program risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies
- Conduct periodic risk reviews and executive level risk reporting
Customer and Executive Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the executive point of contact for strategic enterprise customers
- Lead governance meetings, executive reviews, and customer status updates
- Build trusted relationships with customers, partners, OEMs, vendors, and senior leadership
- Provide executive level communication on project health, financials, risks, and strategy
Resource and Financial Management
- Lead cross functional teams across presales, professional services, engineering, operations, and support
- Drive resource planning, utilisation, capacity management, and delivery optimisation
- Manage project budgets, profitability, forecasting, and financial governance
- Monitor revenue realisation, commercial milestones, billing schedules, and contract compliance
- Mentor project managers and delivery leads to strengthen governance maturity
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline. MBA or M.Tech preferred
- 10 to 15+ years in enterprise IT infrastructure, data centre, cloud, or professional services
- Minimum 5 years managing enterprise scale programs or portfolios
- Demonstrated experience leading multiple concurrent infrastructure projects
- Strong background in PMO, governance, compliance, and executive reporting
- Experience working with enterprise customers, OEMs, system integrators, and cross functional teams
Technical Knowledge
- Data centre infrastructure: design and operations, rack and stack planning, white space planning, structured cabling, power distribution, UPS and PDU, cooling (CRAC/CRAH), capacity planning
- Enterprise infrastructure: servers, storage, compute, networking, firewalls, load balancers
- Virtualisation and cloud: VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V, Proxmox, Microsoft Azure, AWS
- Infrastructure services: backup and disaster recovery, high availability, business continuity, lifecycle management, enterprise monitoring
- Preferred: AI infrastructure, GPU clusters, HPC, NVIDIA enterprise solutions
Certifications (Preferred)
- PMP, PgMP, or PRINCE2 Practitioner
- ITIL Foundation or Managing Professional
- PMI-ACP or SAFe
- CDCP or CDCS
- Microsoft Azure or AWS certification
