About the role

Our client is a Dubai-based IT company. They are hiring a Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services.

The role is based onsite in Dubai. Fluent Arabic and English are required, as the role involves client communication and technical documentation in both languages. You will build robust, efficient services using .NET and a microservices architecture, with a focus on modularity, scalability, and maintainability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices using .NET.
• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code.
• Containerise applications with Docker for consistent, efficient deployments.
• Integrate Kafka or RabbitMQ for reliable, event-driven messaging.
• Optimise data access using Dapper, ADO.NET, or EF Core.
• Apply Clean Architecture principles for flexibility and testability.
• Manage and optimise SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Implement Redis caching to boost performance for high-frequency data.
• Handle both asynchronous and synchronous communication.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, project managers, and client representatives.

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong command of .NET, including ASP.NET Core and Web API.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Data access with Dapper, ADO.NET, or EF Core.
• SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL.
• NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Redis for caching and pub/sub.
• Proficiency in asynchronous and synchronous processing techniques.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluent Arabic and English, for client communication and documentation.
